 Title: Sticks

Series: Black Addiction #2

Author: T. Gephart

Genre: Rock Star Romance

 Release Date: February 28, 2016

Blurb

Kenzie Clark had made plenty of mistakes. Who cared? Life was all about the journey, and if you couldn’t enjoy the ride then what was the point. The tough-talking guitarist from Brooklyn, NY worked hard so she could play even harder. But some mistakes weren’t so easy to walk away from. Joey Shaw, drummer for Black Addiction, was exactly that kind of a mistake.

How could one night of fun turn into a life long commitment? That’s exactly what Joey was asking himself when Kenzie showed up a few weeks later—the soon-to-be baby bump with his name written all over it. He could barely tie his shoes; how in the hell was he going to raise a kid?

With neither of them ready to become parents, it was always going to be a difficult, but there was no way either of them were walking away. Come hell or high water, they were having this baby—together.

Hopefully they would both be still standing by the birth.

Kristys Review (2)5 Star ReviewEvery time T. Gephart has a new book coming out I get excited, because really….all her books rock. I love this author’s writing style, it just flows so smoothly, reads so easily and delivers all the humor and romance so perfectly. I’ve kind of been a bit addicted to her writing since I read High Stung back in the day (my Dan Evans addiction has been well documented). To be honest, I was so completely looking forward to the Black Addition series because I had a big crush on Rusty, but Joey was not really on my radar. Yeah…big mistake on my part…HUGE.

So, lets talk about Joey. I loved him. No…wait, I LOVED him. Actually, that’s still not good enough. I FREAKING LOVED Joey. He was just spectacular and I could not have been happier. To be honest, I might actually love Joey more than the aforementioned Dan Evans (God I can’t believe I said that). He is just the perfect amount of bad boy mixed with good guy mixed with goof ball mixed with hottie.

But here’s the thing that surprised the heck out of me…..Joey was not my favorite part of this couple. NOPE. I completely loved Kenzie. If I could grow up and be anyone I wanted….I think I would be Kenzie. She’s a bad ass rocker chick who can play with the big boys. She’s smart, fun, completely cool and low drama. The way she handles everything thrown her way is classy and smart and respectable.

It’s been a long while since I’ve read a book where both the male and the female leads are so ……endearing? likable? believable? awesome? You pick the adjective, they all work.

Here’s the thing, we all know this trope and most of us have probably read it before. But it’s just done better in this book….

Like WAY better.

It hits every single note right.

Excerpt

Prologue – Kenzie

Oh. Fuck.

Fuck.

Fuck.

F. U. C. K.

That’s exactly what should be displayed in the window of that plastic contraption shaking in my hand instead of that obnoxious plus sign. The bright blue horizontal and vertical line against a stark white background. Taunting me as I stood there hoping it was some cruel optical illusion.

But it wasn’t.

Oh my God, I was going to be sick.

My head spun as I sunk to my ass on the cold tile floor. The stick that ten minutes ago had been so innocent and harmless was still in my hand as I struggled not to hyperventilate. This couldn’t be happening.

I was pregnant.

As waves of nausea rolled through my body—something I’d been experiencing a lot lately—my brain tried to reconcile my new reality. My life as I knew it was well and truly over.

I am going to be someone’s mother.

My hand had barely managed to lift the lid of the toilet as I lost my battle with my stomach. The full body heave expelled not only my breakfast but also my soul into the bowl as the evil EPT wand fell out of my hand and onto the floor. My future—as well as my blueberry bagel—now in the toilet.

I had done a lot of stupid stuff in my time. I’ll be the first to admit that, but Joey Shaw was by far the dumbest.

Unlike most of the girls he seemed to entertain, I’d known Joey for years. Our bands had crossed paths from time to time on the bar circuit, even sharing the stage once or twice. The appreciation we had for each other was mutual, both professionally and otherwise. He was good looking, sexy and had a body built for sin. It was only a matter of time before we ended up doing the in-between-the-sheets tango; I was impressed at how long I’d resisted.

Driven by hormones instead of brains, our little game of flirting came to a very lustful, sexy conclusion last month. That mouth of his wasn’t only talking up a good show, with every single egotistical boast coming out of it not even close to the mind-blowing orgasm he’d given me. His body absolutely delivered on the promise of crazy and unrestrained sex. It had been a night that wasn’t going to be easy to forget. Now it seemed, he had gifted me a permanent reminder.

Fuck.

I was so screwed.

We had barely even spoken since our hook-up, happy for it to be a casual thing between friends. It’s not like I was looking to date him. Ha. Not in this lifetime. I wasn’t that delusional. The man was hot. Not denying that, but I’d had longer relationships with a pizza than Joey had with women. So, I was happy to collect on the toe-curling sex without the side order of is-he-ever-going-to-call-me-again. God damn it. How could I have been so freaking stupid?

Ugh. My stomach churned again as my brain rationalized spending most of the day locked in my bathroom. It seemed like a solid idea, one that would see me postpone the what-the-hell-did-I-do-now that was begging to be dealt with. Ha! As if.

This year had started out with so much promise. The band was doing great. While no record deals had come our way, our song had gotten thousands of hits on YouTube. And there wasn’t a Saturday night where we didn’t play. Not just dive bars but actually great gigs. We were even making decent money too. Life was pretty awesome. Was. Past tense. Now, of course, I was a few months away from hawking my six-string at PawnRUs and getting a day job at Denny’s.

Poor Joey.

The sexy six-foot, dark-haired drummer had no idea that our baby was going to be the first and last child he would father, his balls soon to be hanging from my rearview mirror. I’d be sure to inform him and offer my condolences when I ripped them from his still-breathing body. His dick also at risk of ending up a hood ornament. It was only fair seeing as my body would be waving its red flag of rebellion in the coming months that his should suffer too. Might as well wear my skinny jeans while they still fit me, lord knows I was going to be rocking elastic waistbands and stretchy pants in the very near future. My wardrobe, the least of my worries.

Huh. I was going to have a baby. My hand unconsciously brushed against my flat-for-now belly, the life its dumbass parents created growing inside of me despite my lack of a clue. A missed period and some wicked fatigue the only hint that something was amiss. And in an instant, it had all changed. Knocked up, sitting on my bathroom floor with my head down a toilet, and I had absolutely no idea of how I was going to be someone’s mom.

Inside of me there was a tiny life. A little helpless human who needed my love and protection, who hadn’t asked to be born but had been put there nonetheless. Trusting that I would keep him or her safe until he or she was ready to enter into the world. My baby. Mine.

Great. Now my eyes were leaking. The fucking body rebellion I had expected months from now had already started as tears streamed uncontrollably.

What the hell was happening to me? I wasn’t one of those emotional girls who wept when they lost their favorite purse. I played in a rock band for God’s sake; I didn’t do crying. It was Joey’s fault. Yes. Let’s blame that asshole and his potent freaking sperm. He was the reason I had apparently lost my mind and would soon have a full uterus. And now I was back to being mad again.

Awesome.

This was so going to be fun.

Oh, please let me not kill him.

Author Bio

T Gephart is an indie author from Melbourne, Australia.

T’s approach to life has been somewhat unconventional. Rather than going to University, she jumped on a plane to Los Angeles, USA in search of adventure. While this first trip left her somewhat underwhelmed and largely depleted of funds it fueled her appetite for travel and life experience.

With a rather eclectic resume, which reads more like the fiction she writes than an actual employment history, T struggled to find her niche in the world.

While on a subsequent trip the United States in 1999, T met and married her husband. Their whirlwind courtship and interesting impromptu convenience store wedding set the tone for their life together, which is anything but ordinary. They have lived in Louisiana, Guam and Australia and have traveled extensively throughout the US. T has two beautiful young children and one four legged child, Woodley, the wonder dog.

An avid reader, T became increasingly frustrated by the lack of strong female characters in the books she was reading. She wanted to read about a woman she could identify with, someone strong, independent and confident and who didn’t lack femininity. Out of this need, she decided to pen her first book, A Twist of Fate. T set herself the challenge to write something that was interesting, compelling and yet easy enough to read that was still enjoyable. Pulling from her own past “colorful” experiences and the amazing personalities she has surrounded herself with, she had no shortage of inspiration. With a strong slant on erotic fiction, her core characters are empowered women who don’t have to sacrifice their femininity. She enjoyed the process so much that when it was over she couldn’t let it go.

T loves to travel, laugh and surround herself with colorful characters. This inevitably spills into her writing and makes for an interesting journey – she is well and truly enjoying the ride!

Based on her life experiences, T has plenty of material for her books and has a wealth of ideas to keep you all enthralled.

9 LETTERS TEASER

Excerpt

I was about twenty minutes early for my shift, but I got up to the bar, grabbed a rag, started wiping it down, bussing some dishes.

“Damn, Luke,” Jake said, watching me work. “You win the lotto or something? Royals win the pennant last night and I forgot to watch?”

“I’m just in a good mood, that’s all,” I said.

I thought about it a moment longer, decided I should tell him more. Impart some wisdom learned from my not-particularly-advanced years.

“When everything’s dark for so damn long and your eyes get used to it,” I said, “just a little glimmer of sunshine lights up the whole world.”

He nodded, then grabbed a bus bin and headed back into the kitchen.

Warren though, Warren wasn’t impressed. He was sitting by one of the daytime barflies, but he’d stopped talking and was just watching me. I was on thin ice, and I knew it. I couldn’t afford to lose my job. A heartbroken, drunk, angry widower is probably as unemployable as the average ex-con.

I came on at the end of the day shift. Warren liked tending bar during the day, because it meant just shooting the shit with the regulars. That day I had a smile for every customer, sparse words of wisdom like day drunks want to hear. Tending bar wasn’t my dream. But to hell with letting that make me lazy. I kept the place clean, I poured drinks like I cared.

I was getting into the swing of it when happy hour kicked in and a few more people filtered through the door. Couple of middle-aged bikers, a retired couple that parked their RV out front.

The door swung open again, letting in a little bit of that early-evening cold, and I glanced up to see a crowd of three women, with two men. One of the women was a reddish blonde, radiant. Sort of stole the light out of the room. It was Rae. Our eyes met and her smile gave the room back its light.

She’d been in jeans at the shelter, but she was in a blue dress now and she looked damn fine in either. Took my mind right off Maggie, faster than I thought it would be possible. I met her eyes, and she gave out a little gasp and giggle. I was probably smiling in surprise myself.

The crowd came over to the bar. I’d thought the other four were two couples, but I realized pretty quick that the black girl with the afro was dating the quiet white guy in a beard and glasses and tattoos, and that the other guy was trying to impress Rae. He had a John Deere hat, but his clothes were way too clean for me to buy it that he worked on a farm. I hated him, right off. I probably would have hated him if he was the best guy in the world, though. The other girl, she was tall, latina, and for some indiscernible reason was interested in the poser farmer.

Most of the time, I’m awful at reading people. But for some reason, at work I can tell you everything about everyone who walks in the door. About who’s into who, about who had a bad day at work. Who wants to get drunk and miserable, who wants to get drunk and happy, who wants to get drunk and start trouble. Maybe it’s some magic of the job, maybe it’s just how people carry themselves at a bar. Helps with tips, that’s for certain. You wingman right, and the money flows in.

Warren, he likes to upsell them drinks when he’s doing that. Get them excited about the top shelf. Not me.

“Hey, Rae,” I said.

“Luke,” she said.

John Deere looked at me like I was the scum of the earth. And maybe I was, but if I was the scum then he was… I don’t know, something worse than scum. Wannabe scum.

She introduced me to her friends. Nicole had the afro, her boyfriend was Eric. The girl with bad taste was Irina, and John Deere had some name but honestly it went in one ear and out the other. He was John Deere to me. Yeah, maybe I’m an asshole.

“So, how do you know this guy?” Deere asked, tossing me a look that said I clearly wasn’t good enough to be friend with someone like Rae.

“Oh, he came in just the other day. Adopted the sweetest dog, a bloodhound.” She turned to me, flashing that dimple high on her cheek. “How is he? You guys call a truce yet?”

“King’s great,” I said. “I mean, he’s probably at home right now, eating everything I’ve ever owned, but I figure I was due for a purge anyway, right?”

It was a lame attempt at humor, but Rae laughed.

“What can I get you all? Friend of Rae’s is a friend of mine.”

Wenn's Review

Luke has lost the love of his life. He blames himself, goes through life without living it, barely breathing, he eats, drinks, sleeps. And in his sorrow, he forgets himself.

Come 9 Letters, delivered on his wife 1st death anniversary. Each letter has instruction on it and the next one can only be open if the previous task has been achieved.

This routine gives Luke a goal and that is when he meets Rae.

I went through two stages reading this book.

The first one, was that I was in an expectative mood. I wondered how Rae and Luke’s relationship was going to develop, how they would build a solid relationship with their pasts looming above them. During this phase, I must say that I, at times, was a bit –not bored but- annoyed with their lack of actions. I wanted passion, feelings and interactions.
Then I entered the second stage. The one where I understood that this book was a beautiful journey, with important characters. The first one being Emily. I loved Emily, I loved her for loving Luke so much. And I loved her for giving Luke closure, or I must say acceptance.

We follow the journey of a hurt man, a shell of his previous self. The contrast was so vivid, it was hurtful. Seeing him happy and in love with Emily and now broken, with no hope for a brighter future… It broke my heart. But he will overcome obstacles thrown his way, he will regain pleasure doing simple things, in a word he will accept and grieve to move on…

In my opinion, Rae was a secondary character. She brings some light in Luke’s path but the real reason he shines so bright by the end of the book is solely thanks to his inner strength.

Emily was there to guide him, he just had to follow the path and Rae would hold his hand.

AP - Synopsis.jpg

I know what I’m doing when I text Scott at four in the morning.

He knows what I’m doing, too.

That’s why he shows up twenty-three minutes later, freshly showered with a condom in his pocket and a barely dissolved breath mint on his tongue.

I smirk as he looms over me. “You are such a dirty old man.”

“We need to stop doing this.”

“Why?”

“Because you’re twenty-one and I’m not. Because I want to take you on a f***ing date and you won’t. Because we wind up yelling at each other half the time.”

“But the rest of the time you’re inside me and it feels so good, right?”

His eyes darken and I don’t need to look down to know he’s hard for me.

*** THIS IS A STANDALONE BOOK, CONNECTED TO THE HORUS GROUP SERIES ***

AP- Excerpt.jpg

Scott

It’s obscene, this view of my cock sliding between her legs.

Beautiful, how wet she is for me. How slick her slit is, making me glide faster, rub harder.

That’s us. Beauty and the beast. My arms flex as I hold myself above her, surging our bodies together.

Almost fucking.

It’s even more perverted like this.

“See how much I’d fill you up,” I rasp, and she jerks her head up.

She was already watching, but now she’s looking right at me. Like she sees every twisted want in my head and they get her off. Blood pounds through my body. She licks her lips and the throb in my cock hurts so bad now.

“Yeah, I see,” she whispers. “You’re so big. You’ll never fit.”

That shouldn’t turn me on. It never has before, not like this. Not this fantasy. But it totally does. She writhes beneath me, taunting me to play, too. Fuck, yes. I press her legs wide and grind against her, my cock riding hard over her clit and onto her belly again. “I’d break you, Ali.”

“I want you to.” She reaches for me, winding her arms around my neck, and she tugs me down.

I could hold myself up. I could resist her. Make us both watch as her breath grows shallow, as her nipples tighten and her tits flush.

But if I let her bring me close for a kiss, if she wraps her legs around my hips, it’s going to feel…

“Oh,” she gasps, as the angle between us shifts, and suddenly, my cock is right there.

She’s so wet. It’s such a mindfuck, knowing that I can’t just slam into her.

My dick didn’t get the message. He’s drooling hard, a big fucking puppy dog barking at the park.

I don’t have a condom on. She’s never done this before.

We can’t.

She rolls her hips, and the tip—just the tip, holy fuck, it’s a wet dream come true—notches into place.

Yes. My mind scrambles with how good this feels.

“We can’t,” I mutter, and it’s so guttural I’m not even sure it’s English.

She kisses me, hot and frantic, her breath puffing against my mouth as she licks at me and looks down between us and then kisses me again.

“Come on,” she says. “Just a little bit. I just wanna feel you…” She whimpers as I press my hips. Just a little bit.

What she wants.

He’s not going in any further, not without one of us working hard for it. My balls pull tight, begging to blow their load in a virgin pussy, and she wants it. I want it. It’s the middle of the night and I can’t remember why this is a bad idea.

Two consenting adults.

A fucking shared craving that isn’t going anywhere, no matter what we do.

Heat and need are swirling around me now, binding me to her, but I can’t do this. I pull back, and this time I don’t let her hold me close. She growls beneath me, fierce and proud, and I haul her up and off the bed, holding her against me as I spin us so I’m sitting against her headboard and she’s on my lap.

My cock is safely wedged between us, his wet tip angrily slapping my belly.

“You want me inside you, Ali?”

She winds her hands into my hair. “You know I do. You got a virgin hang-up or something?”

I laugh, harsh and hollow. Or something. “You being a virgin isn’t a problem.”

She smirks. “I know it turns you on.” She licks her lips. “It turns me on, too. I wasn’t kidding when I said I want you to break me.”

“I’m not

doing that to you. That’s not what sex is, Ali.”

“You going to teach me? I want to know every last dirty thing you know.”

“You’ve got Tumblr. You don’t need me to teach you.” My dick disagrees, and Ali makes this hungry little sound in her throat as my erection throbs between her legs.

“Stop perving on my Tumblr account, old man.” She rocks down my length. Back up again. Then she stops and grabs my hands. She presses them to her hips, then slides them up to her breasts. I love her tits so much. They’re ripe and firm and surprisingly heavy.

They’re fucking womanly. She’s making a point. Has been making it, and I’ve been missing it, and it’s a miracle she hasn’t punched me for being stupid.

We’re both breathing hard, and she whispers my name. I jerk my attention from her nipples—can’t blame me, come on, they’re perfect—to her face.

“I’m not a kid,” she says softly.

Kristys Review (2)4 Star ReviewI was eagerly awaiting this one because…you know…those Horus Group boys are wonderfully filthy in the best possible way. And I was SO completely in the mood for a dirty talking good guy. And see, that’s what I love about this series.  The men (and make no mistake about it… these are grown men) are kinky and dirty good guys, no alpha-jerks here. Just strong, protective, smart, honorable men.  And the woman? I love the woman in this series almost as much as the men.  The woman are independent, smart and self assured.  And considering the immense family baggage they are dealing with, they come across as neither entitled nor self-pitying.

Turns out what I loved best about this book wasn’t Scott’s filthy mouth (which was magnificent BTW). It was the romance, the relationship between Scott and Alison is wonderful, believable, heart-breaking and breath-taking.  Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to be so invested in them as a couple.  I should have expected it though, because Ainsley Booth always delivers a great romance, I just forget it sometimes because I get distracted by all of the crazy hot sex.  The pacing of the relationship was spot on and the age difference was handled exactly right.  And the push and pull between Scott and Alison was masterful.  I loved the unexpected twists in their love story.

Lastly, I loved Alison.  I loved that she was smart and strong and mature (well mostly mature).  But mostly I loved that she was never a door mat and that she was never willing to settle. Great female character.

All I can say is please…..bring on the next one.

Four Caskets

Two Bodies

Excerpt

Tugging off her shirt, she smiled. Gone were the compression bras; she didn’t burn them, but they were hauled off with the trash shortly after the infamous refrigerator sex. Lace, satin, and underwire took their place.

“What you’re doing right now feels more intimate than anything you’ve ever done to me with your mouth.”

“We’ll see about that.” He wet his lips, eyeing her white lace bra. Approval glimmered in his eyes.

She removed the rest of her clothes, eager to be in his arms. He took a step back as she moved toward him.

“Stop.”

She froze. Her hands searched for a place to be: hanging idle at her sides, covering her breasts, shielding her neatly-shaven pussy?

“Repeat after me.”

“What?” Her voice squeaked with disbelief.

He grinned as his ego gobbled up her confidence. “I’m beautiful.”

Ryn squinted.

“Say it.”

She sighed. “I’m beautiful.”

“I’m taking back every bit of confidence that bastard took from me.”

It would never happen like that, but someone who hadn’t been in her shoes could never understand. However, she loved the naked man standing before her for saying it.

“I’m taking back every bit of confidence that bastard took from me.”

“I’m worthy of happiness.”

That one hit harder than it should have. She’d never given happiness much thought.

“Say it.”

“I’m … I’m worthy of happiness.”

“I’m going to marry Jackson Knight and love him in spite of his multiple fucked-up personalities.”

“Jackson—”

“Say it.” His voice carried a rare pain and vulnerability.

“I’m going to marry Jackson Knight…” she stepped closer and rested her hands on his chest “…and I’m going to love Every. Single. One. Of his fucked-up personalities.”

“I’ve had a shit day,” he whispered, brushing his thumb along her cheek. “Until now.”

She nodded slowly, then looked up at him. “I’ve had a shit life … until now.”

“Touch me,” he said.

“Where?”

“Everywhere. Make me feel human again.”

Kristys Review (2)

6 Stars

SOMETIMES I forget why I love books so much, Sometimes I forget why I put so much effort and energy into a book blog. It’s especially easy to forget theses things after reading a string of mediocre books that are neither memorable nor moving.

BUT THEN….then I read a book like Dawn of Forever and I REMEMBER. I remember that a book can make you feel everything. It can make you sob like a baby, it can make you smile and laugh, it can make you beg and break.  It can make you love and hate.  A book can make your heart expand with love until your chest hurts and then break it into a million tiny pieces.  And the very best books pick up all those little pieces and put your heart back together better than it was before.  Yeah….Dawn of Forever is that book.

There is NOBODY writing today that does it better than Jewel E. Ann.  Every book, every time and this series is no different.  The entire series is brilliant.  There is no other word for it.  Every character is so complete, so multi-faceted, so human and yet so extraordinary.  I loved every single one of them.  I cried and laughed and fell in love with each and every character.  I both wanted to BE Jillian and was so profoundly glad that I was not Jillian.  And Luke, Jackson and AJ??? There are no words.

One of the most impressive things about this series is how much is going on.  The plot is extensive, intelligent, enthralling and by far the most complex I’ve read in a long time…..and even with all of that….the plot is crystal clear, precise and easy to follow.  This book sincerely has the single best use of flashbacks I’ve ever read.  It’s never been done better.  I was simply blown away.

Above all else though, for me the eloquence of the writing is what made this series unforgettable.  The writing is freaking gorgeous.  Simply beautiful.  I’m not a big highlighter when I’m reading, but I highlighted a million things in this book.  Thoughts and the emotions have never been more beautifully expressed, I’m getting teary just remembering it and I finished the book 3 weeks ago.  Three weeks later and I still get weepy.

Here’s the bad thing about this book….the book hangover is a monster.  It was 2 weeks before I could even start another book, 2 weeks before I could move these characters out of my head, 2 weeks before I was even able to consider letting these characters go.

EVERY ONCE in a while you can read a book that makes you rethink everything you know. A book that makes you want to make changes. A book that has you taking stock and re-prioritizing. A book that hits so close to home you can’t help but recognize your own demons.

The Jack and Jill series by Jewel E. Ann may not be that for everyone….but it is that for me.

Some Sort of Love by Melanie Harlow *** Blog Tour ***

SSOL- Blog Tour Banner

Some Sort Of Love cover

On the surface, I have it all—a career I adore, a loving family, the Nixon metabolism but not the Nixon ears, and a salary that supports my lavish taste in designer shoes, fine wine, and lacy lingerie…but I have no one to share it with.

Until the day I run into him—my one night stand from college with the cocky smile, let’s-get-out-of-here eyes, and dirty, dirty mouth.

Levi Brooks is six feet four inches of hot bearded fantasy. A sexy single dad with broad shoulders, strong hands, and a fantastically big…heart. (I mean, it’s massive. And generous. And it pumps so hard… um. Sorry. Lost my place.)

But he lives for his son, and he’s keeping me at a distance because he thinks I deserve someone better—a man who can give me more time, more attention, more of himself. He doesn’t believe he could ever be enough.

But he’s wrong.

He’s everything.

SSOL - RelationshipsWenn's Review3 1_2 Star Review

3.5 Stars!
Really enjoyable story !

This is very hard for me to rate this book but I am honest in every review I write so I’m going to let you know what I loved and what I disliked…
I enjoyed this book. I laughed, swooned and fell for the characters. I got all hot and bothered cause let me tell you something… Under this single dad persona hides a dirty lover!!!

Obviously, reading a book from this series is like meeting up with your friends. I love the Nixon sisters, how they are all supportive of each other. How they call Jillian out on her BS…

So when Jillian, last Nixon girl to be single, runs into her one night stand from her college years, what started as an innocent flirt turns into something more serious. But serious comes with real life problems, with responsibilities, and a past…
Levi, oh Levi I both loved and hated you! See Levi is a responsible dad, a hot as fuck lover and dirty talker. I loved seeing how he interacted with his son, his family. I liked that about him. How he took charge of his son’s education, not letting people decide for him.
What I didn’t like though was the “guilty” and “I don’t want you to meet my boy” phase that lasted too long. I could understand his reasoning but I didn’t agree with him. But well, I’m not in his shoes so I can’t tell what would be my reaction.

So if you’re a sucker for a sweet, hot and funny book you should read this one. But be warned there’s a LOT of sex in this book.

Dirty Bad Secrets by Jade West

 DIRTY BAD SECRETS

JADE WEST

GENRE: EROTICA

COVER DESIGN: ROMANTIC BOOK AFFAIRS

It’s been three years since I set foot in Club Explicit, and three long years since I set eyes on Andy Morgan.
He doesn’t want me here, doesn’t want to know me, doesn’t want to even hear my name.
But I’m back on his doorstep, in his office, in his life… with a suitcase full of dirty bad secrets.

Faye Devere is out to claim her old life back. Three years in Italy have come at a heavy price, and she’s running back to the only anchor she has left: her fifty-fifty share of Club Explicit, and the man she left to pick up her pieces.
But Andy Morgan’s long over it. Long over her.
Club Explicit is his baby now. His club, his rules, his way.
Andy’s not a man who shares easily. And certainly not with the woman who upped and left without so much as a goodbye.

When your battlefield is London’s horniest playground, and sex is the sole weapon left in your arsenal, it’s only a matter of time before the fight gets dirty… and the secrets get dirty bad.

WARNING: As is always the case with Jade West novels, please proceed with caution. The book contains hardcore BDSM and sexual practices that may offend some readers. Please use your own discretion. Most definitely 18+
