Kylie Scott returns with the highly anticipated follow-up to international bestseller Lick.
Mal Ericson, drummer for the world famous rock band Stage Dive, needs to clean up his image fast—at least for a little while. Having a good girl on his arm should do the job just fine. Mal doesn’t plan on this temporary fix becoming permanent, but he didn’t count on finding the one right girl.
Anne Rollins never thought she’d ever meet the rock god who plastered her teenage bedroom walls—especially not under these circumstances. Anne has money problems. Big ones. But being paid to play the pretend girlfriend to a wild life-of-the-party drummer couldn’t end well. No matter how hot he is. Or could it?
I could not have like loved this book more. Honestly, one of my top three rocker romance books. I loved Lick too, but I have to say…this one was better. I thought Mal was a blast, it was funny to read about a rocker that wasn’t brooding and intense all of the time. Mal was fun, silly and a little bit crazy while still managing to be intelligent, caring and really sexy. He was ridiculous and so fun, but he was also protective and serious and kind when he needed to be
Anne was a little too much of a doormat for me in the beginning, with everyone except Mal. Luckily, they addressed that issue early on and watching her work through it with Mal’s help is part of the ride. Watching Anne deal with Mal and take all his crazy in stride was awesome. Her easy going attitude is a perfect match to Mal’s manic personality. I aspire to be more like Anne, willing to be silly and have fun instead of worrying about what everyone else thinks
Mal is definitely my fantasy rocker boyfriend…he’s just FUN. Of the all four stage dive novels I’ve read this is my favorite!!
